Introduction of Disintegration of USSR

USSR disintegation happened in 1991. The RUSSIA, UKRAINE and BELARUS republic announced the disintegration of the soviet union. Soviet Union’s leader Boris Yoltan played a n important role.in the disintegration against the Soviet union.

In this era the world was divided into 3 worlds:

  • The first world was of capitalism which was brought by America. So U.S and the other countries which has joined this group is called First world.
  • The second ideology Came to the world was Socialist or communist which was brought by the USSR and the countries who had joined the group as second world.
  • The countries who had neither joined the American group nor USSR group and kept distance from both power groups. On the other hand we can say that the countries who got independence after the second world war are known as third world.

 The USSR war represented the second world. In 1991 USSR was disintegrated into 15 parts due to some reasons. So the disintegration of the USSR is known as END OF THE SECOND WORLD.

The Reasons Of Disintegration Of Soviet Union Are As Follow-

  • ECONOMIC REASON

The Soviet economy used much of its resources in mainting a nuclear power and the development of its satellite states. This led to a huge economical burden that the system could not cap up with.

  • POLITICAL PERSON-

The Soviet union become stangnant in an admistrative and political sense as well. The party communist was not accountable to the people. As compared to ordinary citizens Party bureaverats gained more privileges.

  • CULTURAL REASON-

Russia dominating everything and people from other regions felt neglected and suppressed.there were the urge of people in the fifteen republics that formed  the soviet union to manage their own affairs including their cultural affairs but  The communist party refused to recognise it.

  • ROLE OF CITIZENS-

 Ordinary citizens became more knowleadgeable as well as intelligent. They came to know about the economic advances of the west and saw disparities between their system and the west. They demanded for economic and political reforms.

  • TERRORISTS ATTACK

Terrorist attacks were increaseing indiffernt parts  of soviet union and government was unable to control it. People were not feeling safe in soviet union. So they started raising voice for the disintegration of soviet union.

  • ROLE OF GORBACHEV-

Gorbachev sought to reform the system in 1985 because he throught it was necessary to keep the USSR abreast of the information and technological revolutions taking place in the west. But he carried out his reforms and loosened the system he set in motion forces and expectaions that few could have predicked and became virtually impossible to control. In this tug of war Gorbachev lost support on all sides and he decided to disintegrate the soviet union in 15 parts.

The consequences of  disintegration of USSR on the outer world were-

  • END OF COLD WAR

 First of all it meant that tthe end of cold war confrontations. The ideological dispute between the socialist system of USSR and the capitalist system of US was over

  • STARTING OF UNIPOLAR WORLD-

After disintegration of USSR the US became the sole superpower and the capitalist economy was now the dominant economic system internationally. 

  • END OF DANGER OF THIRD WORLD WAR-

 With the disintegration of the USSR, the danger of the third world war also ended.

  • END OF WEAPON RACE-

 During the cold war both superpowers were engaged in a weapon race. But with the disintegration of the USSR the weapon race was also controlled. 

  • THE WORLD BANK AND IMP BECOME POWERFULL  ADVISOR-

Institutions like world bank and internation monetary fund (IMF) become powerful advisors to all these countries since they gave them loans for their transitions to capitalism.

  • SOCIALIST COUNTRIES TURNED TO CAPITALISM-

The former republics who adopted the democratic rise of capitalist economy were helped by the world bank and IMF.

CONCLUSION:

 The disintegration of soviet union resulted the end of existence of the country and its Federal government as a sovereign state which resulted its 15 constituent republics gaining full independence on 26 December 1991. there were many reasons behind the dissolution of USSR but main were the civil war in soviet union and the slow develepment as compared to west countries. At the time of USSR the leader of soviet union was boris yeltis. This disintegration helped to stop worrying about the 3rd world war in the world. The cold was was also ended. It also benefits the India in many ways.
