Introduction Of Obesity

An abnormal or excessive fat accumulate that can risk to health can be called OBESITY and Overweight. Nowdays,rate of overweight grows in very early age just because of malnutrition.In this excess body fat has accumulated to such an extend that it negatively affect our health 💀💀

 today more people are obese than underweight in every region(except sub-Saharan Africa and Asia).

There are many reasons behind why people have to face the difficulties. Usually from inherited,physiological and environment factors, combined with diet, physical activity and exercise choices it results.  

 The issue has grown with over 4 million people dying each year  to epidemic proportions,

as a result of being overweight and obese in 2017 according to the global burden of disease.

Rates  of overweight is continue  growing in adults and children. From 1975 to 2023, the prevalence of overweight or obese increased more than from 4% to 18% globally. It is more likely to develop a number of serious health problems,like heart disease,high blood pressure ,breathing problems, and many more.

Symptoms and causes:

It is a serious medical condition ,a complex issue with many causes and sometimes considered a disease.Living with it can also affect your quality of life and contribute to mental health problems,like depression and can also affect self esteem.

A BMI (body mass index) over 25 is considered overweight and over 30 is considered as obesity.The BMI is a person’s body weight in kg divided by the square of height in meters.

BMI score has limitations as it measures weather a person is carrying too much weight but not too much fat.Example , the people who are very muscular ,like professional sportspeople,can have high BMI without much fat.on the otherhand,for most people,BMI is a useful indication of wheather they are a healthy weight.

It is not just a cosmetic problem,it is a medical concern .Obesity is because of malnutrition in our daily life.                                                                                                                                                       On body weight there are genetic ,harmonal, metabolic influence on  body weight. It occurs when we take in more calories as compared than we burn through normal daily exercises and activities. Our body stores these excess calaories as fat.

Most people’s diet in united states aree too high-calories from fast food and high -calories beverages. The people who are obese might eat more calories before full,eat more due to stress or anxiety or feel hungry sooner.

People had jobs in western countries ,they don’t tend to burn as many calories at work as jobs are much less physically depending . Even daily activities like remote controlling ,gadgets,escalators, online shopping, drive through banks use fewer calories at work.

Complications after obesity

  • It can diminish the overall quality of life . You maybe not able to do physical activities that you used to enjoy. you may avoid public places.people with this might have to face social discrimination.
  • type 2 diabetes- the body use insulin to control blood sugar levels but iit can affect it. This may raises the risk of diabetes and insulin resistance.
  • heart disease stokes-because of this you might to face high blood pressure abnormal cholestrols levels, which are risk factors for heart disease and strokes.
  • certain cancers-it may increase the risk of cancer of liver, colon, ractum ,uterus, kidney, pancreas, ovary, breast, colon, cervix and prostate.
  • sleep apnea- people facing obesity are more likely to have sleep apnea, a potentially serious disorder in which breathing repeately starts and stops during sleep.
  • digestive problems- obesity increase the likely hood of developing gall bladder disease,heartburn,liver problems.

Treatment

treatment of obesity’s goal is to reach and stay healthy weight.this lowers the risk of developing  complication related to obesity and improves overall health.

1.Dietary changes-practicing healthier eating habits and reducing calories are vital to overcoming obesity. We sholud cutting the calories, feeling full on deserts,fats items on less,making healthier choices,restricting some foods,meal replacement, will help to overcoming obesity.

2.Exercise and activity-people with obesity need to  physical activities for 150 minutes, use stairs instead of eleavator and lifts. Try Weight loss medication. 

Conclusion: Obesity and overweight is one of the most common problem in world.

People nowadays keep eating unhealthy food in thier daily life which affect them and then they have to face a problem named obesity and overweight. Once the body start gaining the weight there is too hardworking for managing the weight according to their height and age. We should add healthy diet plan, exercise, meditation to keep our body healthy. We need to expend our time in nature with plants.
